|| HYPERBARIC OXYGEN TREATMENT (HBOT) CENTER
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a non invasive medical treatment which involves breathing 100% oxygen at increased pressure in a Hyperbaric Chamber. Breathing 100% oxygen under pressure allows oxygen to dissolve into the blood plasma, resulting in increased amounts of oxygen delivery to tissues.
The Hyperbaric Chamber at Godrej Memorial Hospital is a large multi-place chamber and accommodates up to six patients at a time. Patients are treated on Out patient or Inpatient basis. The Hyperbaric Oxygen facility is integrated with the Emergency and Diagnostics, consisting of Casualty , Intensive care units, ICCU, Operation theaters, Imaging and Pathology Laboratory.
